About MyRoom Acoustic Studio
MyRoom Acoustic Studio provides music production services in a studio equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, built according to all acoustic standards, with large spatial capacities and capabilities. It includes a professional orchestra with enormous potential for recording various orchestral materials for films, TV shows, video games, classical music, and projects of different musical genres. MyRoom Acoustic Studio is designed for orchestral sessions, with multiple interconnected studio spaces, which enhances the matching of instrument tones and provides cleaner recorded material for further sound processing. It also offers the possibility of remote recording sessions, i.e., communication with the orchestra, conductor, and control room (Zoom).
MRA Studio offers services to composers and productions, including music editing and mixing preparation. Our dedicated audio engineers are also composers, arrangers, and experienced musicians who will gladly assist you with composition or arrangement. MyRoom Acoustic Studio Features
The studio of approximately 500 square meters in its composition has three live, two control rooms and a huge proctor for rest with a beautiful panorama of the imperial city of Niš with a large parking lot. The three live rooms are arranged in such a way that the largest room is built entirely from a combination of stone and wood, which results in a natural sound of the recording.
In the Studio 1, which is 6 meters in height, the material of construction is dominated by a different type of wood, which results in a smaller amount of natural reverb, but sound that can be interesting for different genres of music.
Studio 2 is a compression type of room which is neutral in nature and gives a sound that is pretty much equivalent to the sound of the instrument itself.
Studio 3 is the largest room(live room), with a height of 6 meters, is suitable for large orchestras, which, with its spatial characteristics, allows great comfort for the performers when playing, like large concert halls built in a similar way.
The studio has two control rooms that are fully equipped with analog equipment, converters, lynx aurora, merging – HAPI MK II, which enables simultaneous recording of up to 40 channels, with exceptional monitors Dutch and Dutch and LOG professional BETA. In addition to analog equipment, the studio owns, in addition to modern microphones Sheps, Soyuz, AKG, DPA, as well as a lot of vintage microphones characteristic for all genres, such as Neumann U 47, U 67, M49, U87 and others. The concept of recording and control rooms is based on the principle that they are all connected to each other both audio and visually via cameras and large projectors, which enables simultaneous recording of all rooms at the same time.
The rest area (cafeteria and brunch) with a square footage of 150 square meters allows a large number of performers to rest. The space of 150 square meters is designed to be multifunctional and can be easily adapted into several rooms for lectures, masterclasses and a place where different activities foreseen by the projects can take place.
Also, in 2023, the studio orchestra “Ikus Studio Orkestar” was formed, whose basic idea is to enable the realization of highly professional recordings of various projects of the film industry, video games,… which also covers chamber ensembles for recording the most diverse ensembles as well as the standard usual string quartet formations, quintet and others.
